Our Team

Kristy Adams, MA, MAT
Program Director, Olivos
As Program Director, Kristy guides the thoughtful and considered services that Olivos provides in collaboration with clients and their families. Kristy is skilled in developing personalized roadmaps toward health and wellness tailored to the needs, strengths, cultures, and goals of each client, and in leading strong teams that deliver coordinated, seamless services.
Prior to joining Olivos, Kristy provided mental health case management and vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with serious mental health conditions, and often complex needs, in the San Francisco Bay Area. She also taught in an independent elementary school in New York City, where she was responsible for the academic, social, and emotional growth of her students. In all of these roles, Kristy worked to empower children, youth, and adults to realize their goals and build fulfilling, meaningful lives.
Kristy earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and both her Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) and Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco.

Cathy Mathews, MA
Therapist, Olivos
Cathy Mathews is a somatic and mindfulness-based therapist who works with a wide variety of presenting issues. She supports clients to move toward their own goals by helping them to increase awareness, reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression and find a stronger and less reactive version of themselves. She holds a master’s degree from the California Institute of Integral Studies and has extended additional training in experience-based methods of psychotherapeutic change. Cathy is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #110219, supervised by LCSW 27396
